Resident Services Coordinator, Independent Living & Assistive Living

Maciel began volunteering at SCOC in 1991 in the Tea Room and by 1992 was hired as an employee. She worked as a hostess, cook, dietary aide, receptionist and housekeeper while she pursued education to become a Personal Support Worker and then a Practical Registered Nurse. Since 2015, Maciel has worked as the Resident Services Coordinator in the Independent Living and Assistive Living programs. She is honoured to be able to continue serving this community.
